Mushroom Science

Mushroom Science Products

Mushroom Science was founded in 1994 by John Seleen, a mushroom grower, He Xianguo, a natural products chemist and Steven Bailey, a naturopathic doctor.  They began the company selling only to health care professionals but broadened the market to consumers in 2003.

MushroomScience is the only U.S. Mushroom Company offering hot water extracted mushroom supplements that match the potency and quality of the preparations used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the extracts used and studied in the scientific and medical research.  Other mushroom companies use alcohol extraction or even unextracted mushrooms.

Committed to scientific research, Mushroom Science continues to lead the way in medicinal mushroom products by operating a full-scale research labratory.
